Structure of this Writer's Guide
The procedure lifecycle framework serves to illustrate the stages a procedure goes through (Parker, 2020).

Writer's guide is comprised of five major sections:
- Planning
- Design/Development
- Implementation
- Operations
- Maintenance
Concrete examples of application of guidelines are provided to improve writers’ comprehension and capacity for implementing guidelines consistently.
Guidelines are presented in a dropdown format, which are either “Evidence Based” or “Common Practice,” and follow this structure:
